A brilliant start to Term 5!
What an enjoyable summery week we have had, the weather has
been beautiful, which has meant that we have been able to take some of our
learning outside. Orion class are also really excited to celebrate our
learning, as we will be having our reward for filling our Lego jar from last
term. We hope to fill it up again quickly so that we get another reward this
term!
As quick as a flash, we have been able to use Brackets, commas
and dashes in our writing, this is called parenthesis. A member of our class
said, ”Parenthesis is when you’re adding more information to our sentences.”
In our fabulous Maths lessons we have been continuing our
learning all about Fractions; we have been practising how to turn improper
fractions into mixed numbers.
If you would like to see any of our lovely work this week,
just ask! We would love to show you as we are really proud of our learning.
Joke of the week (linked to our learning) –
Who invented fractions?
Henry the Eighth!
We hope you have enjoyed reading our blog this week,
Orion Class
