The Groovy Greek Week!
Some of you may know that we have been learning about Ancient
Greece this term. On Wednesday the 28th March, Orion class put on a
fabulous Greek Museum with Year 6. We had six different stations including Democracy
in Ancient Greece, Ancient Greek Science and Architecture, Women and Men in
Ancient Greece, Olympics in Ancient Greece, Ancient Greek Theatre and Greek
Myths. We really enjoyed our Greek museum although it did require a great deal
of planning and preparation. Thank you to all of you that came along and we
hope that you enjoyed it!
Linking to our Greek topic, we have been writing our own non-chronological
report on Ancient Greece. We chose three topics to write about and shared our
fantastic fun facts with each other. Overall we have really enjoyed our learning
about Ancient Greece this term and we are looking forward to our next terrific
topic.
Miss Aston, Mrs Ross and Mrs Barfoot say “well done for being
outstanding learners, have the most wonderful Easter break and we look forward
to seeing you all after the holidays!”
Joke of the week –
Who is the king of the classroom?
The ruler!
We hope you have enjoyed reading our blog this week,
Orion Class
